how to format raw samsung g2portable after a cancelled formatting?

i have a samsung g2 portable hdd when i first got it out of it's box and wanted to format it into ntfs something stupid happened as i was copying to many files on my other hdd anyway the formatting was canceled and the hdd now refuses to open or show properties or anything so i went to device manager to format it and it reached 100% the popped a message that the formatting failed i tried to delete the whole thing but it didn't work i also downloaded partition when i try to create a new partition in the unallocated space it says can't execute the operation can't find correct partition i've also downloaded kill process and that didn't work please help it's new and i can't return it !!
