how to flash to cricket

by searching over a month on how to unlock my phone(a900) and flash to cricket i found out that i needed QPST and CDMA workshop so i downloaded them but i cannot find a step by step guide that tells me how to unlock my phone so i woulg really appreciate if someone could help me on this please.........thanks

You do not need to make it hard to read or that big in the first place.
 
I appoligize if I sound rude, Ive done this for over 6 years and I completly understand where noobs come from they want to learn yes true, but there are certain things they need to understand just like I did I got riped on and now where im at i understand why.
I might not be the best speller or how to word things and I sum up everything haha Im young and that will change but im very buged when there is a new topic about somthing already discused just below it ( Not saying this topic is one) and then being PM as well.

I DO NOT ANSWER DUrab QUESTIONS THROUGH PMS i just dont :S haha nore do i reply to them. but thats not my only reason i dont reply.

Check your comports, Samsung phones are one of the hardest to get in the right mode I wont post my seceret but there is one, One way is to use UNICDMA and Select one of the samsung phones in the list and click DM once the phone is read by UNICDMA you can close that and Use CDMA_WORKSHOP on the right comport. Read the phone with it select the Security Tab under the security tab selecet Universal EFS then select NVM/security/002 something similar to that and click read it will give you, your MSL
 
i already changed my spc to 000000 with cdma workshop..... what do i need to do with the msl???? change it to 000000 too???........what other things do i need to change so i can unlock it???

SPC = MSL

SPC = Service Provider Code
MSL = MASTER SUBSIDY LOCK

there the same.

If you already have it as 000000
Donwload the Cricket PRL 1040 or 1039
Use QPST or CDMA_WORKSHOP and load the prl
thats it.

To OTAP with this phone you only need to push *2
not *228 or *22804 JUST *2
 
I wasn't trying to say you're rude. You occasionally go off on people, but there have only been a few times I didn't think you were necessarily justified.

I was honestly agreeing with you. I have no problem showing noobs the ropes... hell, I'm still a noob when it comes right down to it. I just hate people who post overly general questions, and refuse to do any research of their own.

I firmly believe that if the answer is found within these forums, we should offer no help to noobs, unless it's clear that they've tried to find the answer on their own first. I hate enabling people to bask in their own ignorance.
 
thats it????..... damn it seems a lot harder than it looks haha..... ya i already have prl 1039... now i jus need to load it up..... thanks a lot for the help....... would everything work though???? text and picture messaging, web, etc???
 
hey you know what nobody is born knowing how to do this **** and you didnt neither..... just to let you know HACKING is made so you can achive something that others cant and somehow that makes you special from others..... but not better..... jus cuz you know how to do this **** doesnt mean you better than me.... cuz you not.... you just copy other people things so how the **** does that makes you special huh???....... i make hacks for psp and i share them with everyone because if i have the ability to alter things on the product to make it better than i think everyone could too.........

You went to the effort to at least find basic info on programming. I was talking about the people who come in here and post "hey dude, tell me how to hack my phone. How do I program my 6700?", despite the fact that there are 4 different tutorials clearly posted on the first page of the forum.

I don't think I'm better than anyone. I even called myself a noob in my last post. I'm just sick of helping people who don't do a damn thing to help themselves. Again, I was not talking about you.

No you cant recieve the best way is to have them take of pic messaging off your account so that you will receive a text telling you to go online to veiw it
 
maybe but highly unlikely with sprint phones :D just so you know most verzion phones mms will work ;)
Sprint uses Java based phones a lot harder to reroute information to crickets native brew with the current setup they have. When the samsung phone comes out if indeed it does we should have a solution :)
 
well i appologize too.... my bad i though you were talking about me when you said SOME PEOPLe so i kinda took it personal.... but still man i dont see the need of doing that cuz in my personal experience i feel good when i make hacks for psp but it makes me feel better when i know that it works good and that other people like it..... im just saying that if you already have the knowledge than you should share it with those who dont know...... if there was something posted before on the same subject than you should at least give them the url..... come on thats not so hard or is it???
 
well on a way i like the a900 better cuz it has java and my k1m and l7c dont..... i will find a way to make the mms work cuz i flashed a k1m firmare on my l7c and everything works and my pic messaging was not working but i used Qpst to compare some nurabers on my l7c and k1m and i changed some nurabers so i might do the same to my a900
