I have a Kingston DataTraveler 4GB USB Flash drive. I worked fine until I plugged it into my computer one day and it wouldn't work. I went to my computer and clicked on the flash drive. It said that I had to format it so I did. On the format screen, i choose the fat file system and default allocation unit. I clicked Start and an error came up that said Windows was Unable to Complete the format. My flash drive doesn't have a write-protect switch so that's not the problem. BTW, I also tried some other format tool and that didn't work either.
