how to fix the service on verizon rouge wireless phone.?

The other day i droped my phone in some water. i quickly took the battery out and dyried off my phone. then but my phone in a box of rice. everything works on my phone. but the problem is it says i have no service. its searching for svc. even tho i know i have service. so how can i fix this so i can text again and make phone calls. thanks for your help
