I have a 40gb PS3 and it froze when I was playing Call of Duty 5. The only thing is I tried to reset it from the back, but when I do that and turn it back on it goes back to the screen it was frozen on for some reason. No xmb, starting screen or anything. Also, I can hear the startup music but its showing the screen where it was frozen on. I need help, I am running the latest firmware too.
