I have a Toshiba Satellite L300 pre-installed with windows vista, with an Intel core 2 duo processor and 2.00GB's of RAM. My graphics card is an Intel 965 Express Chipset, and sound card is an Intel Hd Audio device. I have tried Ubuntu 10.04 + 9.10 and Linux Mint in many different ways; Wubi, Virtualbox and an actual install to my hard drive. In every single one I have experienced this problem in flash videos: whenever I pause a video, the audio carries on for roughly a second after I click pause, however this doesn't happen when I actually close Firefox, as the audio stops straight away. I have also installed flash 10 in a lot of different ways, from the adobe website, using terminal commands, and using the software centre. Can anyone help with this problem? It is the ONLY and I mean ONLY thing stopping me from using Ubuntu and escaping from the evils of Windows Vista!
