This has been fixed before..( I followed the instructions and fixed a 3g a couple of weeks back )....you need to resolder two components on the board...
Search the forum and you should find a schematic showing you the two components to check

its mainly depends on hardware. i think your phone section is damaged. but googled for bspatch for i tunes dll and may be it can help you to complete the restoring process. or use ireb to bypass restoring errors.
