how to fix blackberry storm screen from being so jenky?

i have the original blackberry storm and the screen is being very off lately. it just randomly started happening to me. it worked fine for a while but now it is always being very sensitive when i scroll, it always selects stuff when im scrolling, and half the icons dont work when i press them. and yes im pressing them fairly hard
