I had an iPhone 3G, but as a sweet surprise my daddy upgraded me to an iPhone 4 a few months ago! I kept the old disabled phone though because it had all my contacts, pictures, important notes, and old texts on it, and I hadn't found the time to do any transfers. I left it on my kitchen table for the past two weeks or so without looking at it, so I suppose it died! Today when I charged it back up again, it said "iPhone is disabled- connect to iTunes". And when I connected it to iTunes, it told me to enter the passcode! But the phone only gives me the option of an emergency call?!
It had a passcode, and I think it was set to delete everything if it was entered in wrong too many times. Do you think this is what happened? No one will confess... Or do these things happen on their own if the phone is left alone too long??
PLEASE help me. I'm crying I'm so upset. I don't know what to do!! Everything was on that phone, I will be devestated if I loose it... I just need to get back into my phone! Thanks.
Oh, and it still has a SIM card in it! I tried plugging it into another computer (the one that it was originally synced on), and it transfered all my photos to the computer, and showed up on iTunes as a valid iPhone that I could sync and add music to and stuff, but the actual phone still won't open! If I were to restore it, would that delete all of my texts and notes?? I really really need those. Like a lot.
