I am trying to play an older PC game, it installs and runs fine, and in the menu screens the colors are correct, but when I play the game, all the colors are screwy. Faces are blue, black items look brown, and other colors turn into weird greens and yellows.
When I reduce my acceleration through my display properties as it suggests in the manual, and play the game in compatibility mode(256 Colors) the graphics get fixed, but the game slows to a crawl.
There is no patch to update the game that I can find, and the company that made it went belly up, so i can't use their tech support.
It seems like my options are to play the game with everyone's faces being blue, but have it run very well, or fix the colors, and have the game run extremely sluggish. Anyone have any suggestions?
