how to fix a 1995 toyota camry water pump?

my car started to over heat today. it only has 98 k miles on it. the temperature has always been below half way. Now for some reason it is over heating; I thought it was the temperature gauge so i replaced it. what else coud it be? i know its not the radiator because i tested if it is working correctly and it is. i hope it is not the water pump because that is a timely repair. what do you think?
