Hello fellow fishers,
I'll be going on a camping trip to Payson in the next week, and have read there will be trout in the lake near where were staying. Only thing is, I've never been trout fishing before. I've done plenty of catfish, bass, sunfish, and carp fishing but never trout, and was just wondering what are some good baits, and how exactly to fish for trout? And what would be a proper rig. I heard that they are very hard to trick.
Is it like catfishing where I bait the hook and cast it and let it sit for a while? Or like bass where I cast and slowly real to mimic a live worm/fish?
Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
