I fractured my elbow two weeks ago, and when i got the splint off one week ago they would have let me go with just a sling, but they put on a long-arm cast for the pain. It was itching like hell, so i pressed it against a table to weaken the cast, and then i pried off a good 6 inches form the top with some pliers. Suddenly there is this rash from hell that has been feeling like it was being stabbed repeatedly. What can i do to make it easier to get the rest of it off. I think if i get it to the elbow i can slide it off. Just to be clear the bone is healed, and the cast was just for pain.
Just to be clear and stuff, it was only a minor crack. The orthopedist was about to discharge me without a cast, then he accidentally twisted the arm.
