how to find the keygen on a xbox 360 disk drive?

hi, i have a flashed xbox 360 disk drive (Toshiba samsung if it matters) that is broke so im not sure if i do need the keygen to flash another and put the other in my 360 but i read on the internet you do. anyway's, how do i get the keygen of the broken disk drive? thanks a lot.
