I Want To Connect My Palm Trio 600 To Cricket... I Almost Got It But The C. Rep. Couldnt Program The Phone To The Account Cause It Asks For The Homes Area Nid Nuraber... They Know The Sid Nuraber But They Have No Clue What The Homes Nid Nuraber Is.... How Do I Find It....? Thanks....
 
load a cricket prl in it. *228 it and it will load the correct nid for you. else, look on your old phone and use the same NID that is in it
 
I been trying to activate the phone.... i go to the activations setting... i just opened an account with cricket.... got a new nuraber... the min nuraber... home sid nuraber the c rep say it was 6534 the home nid nuraber is 65535 (i got this from different people its a standar nuraber) an when i enter all this info.. i got the activation complete message... "you have successfully programmed your trio" but is says "searching for network" and when i dial *228 it says no service... your phone is out of coverage" i was told that it could be the prl file... but i have no clue how to do it... thanks...
 
Go to the PRL section of this site download the 1040 PRL and take it from there and or find a copy of the 1041-1042 PRL Load it up and do a *228. and if that dose not work something else might be wrong and or the phone is bad.

P.S not trying to jump the gun xD but right now cant think of what else is wrong, also you might want to take a newer stock Treo ROM and update it, and then take it from there, if something did get messed up the stock ROM should fix everything and so from there you can load up the PRL, ive done that befor and it has worked.
 
Use 65535 for the NID and 5756 for the SID. I am not sure if that is the same for every area though. Best bet would be to check another cricket phone that is activated and working on cdma workshop or qpst.
 
Thanks for helping me out... i been looking for the 1040 prl download... havent find it yet.... when you said "load it up" ..... how do i do that...? and how update a newer stock treo rom....? i am sorry but i dont know to much about this.... ill keep searching for the 1040 prl download... i just need to know what to do after i find it... thanks for your time.... i hope you have time to help me out some more....
 
Vist the Treo Website, and find the company its locked too, and as far as loading up the PRL you will need a program that can do that, BTW what Company is your treo from? VZW or Sprint?
 
There is a sticky at the beginning of the forum that gives you a step by step guide on flashing the treo. There is also a sticky for PRL's as well. If you google "1040 PRL download" it will get you the prl you want. I hope this is of help to you.
