How to express permutation cycles as a product of disjoint cycle?

HI, there. I have no idea how to express permutation cycles as a product of disjoint cycle.
I tried to get some ideas from text book.. but still it does not work...

I have an example.

a = (1 7 6 3)(2 4 9 8) b = (1 3 4 9)(2 6 8)
ab = (1 7 8 6 4 2 9) --------> how to get this?
