How to explain to army recruiter?

My interview is just days from today for the army. I applied as SIG OP. I am currently finishing up my first year of university and plan on taking a leave from it for the time being and join the army now. How should I explain this to my army interviewer? I have the reasons in my head but I cant seem to put it into words, let alone explain it. I have wanted to join the army ever since I was 13, been waiting for the day I turn 18 to enlist. However my parent made me go to university and thus I am currently majoring in Political Science. I decided to to finish my degree in the army by taking part time courses even though it'll take me more then 4 years to complete. I want to start my career now. I applied as an officer in ROTP ( its the same thing as ROTC) at first before I started to attend my university however I changed my application to NCM. When I turned 18 last month I decided to finish this year and went ahead and changed my application. I cant seem to pin point my argument as to why I want to halt university, I really want to be doing the job rather then doing desk work and supervising all the time as officers do ( 60 percent of there time they are doing desk work, I got this info from my recruiter and other sources). I really want a career that's challenging, rewarding and physically demanding and the army fits my needs, as well as to serve my country and its people. Can someone pin point my argument that I can explain to the interviewer, I am really nervous right now because I was told that I would be asked why I changed since it'll appear on my application.
applied to the Canadian forces
Dont tell me not to halt uni for the army, I have already made my discussion.

Your not funny, our army is highly professional and we do conduct training with US forces and among others. Your remark is a disgrace, I have met fellow US army veterans that have conducted training with the CF and differ with your remark.
