Hello everyone! I have decided I want to stop wearing liquid foundation, powder foundation, and concealor. I have mild acne (which breaks me out during certain times of the month) and my face can be a bit red and blotchy sometimes. I feel like I just make my skin worse by adding primer, both foundations, and counselor everyday. I am on BC, and I am switching brands because my doctor is going to assign me a pill that is more suited for me (the first brand is ortho tricyclin lo from Planned Parenthood).
I want to help clear my skin and let it breathe, but I am so self counsious!
I clean my skin with Neutrogena Oil-free Acne Wash Foaming Scrub (because the cream clensers don't seem to get all my makeup off). I feel I exfolaite too much because of this, so I also want to stop using makeup because it's so hard to get it all off.
The Neutrogena body wash has been working extremely well on my chest, shoulders, and back. I also use Eucerin Soothing Lotion on my face and body, works great! (Used to use CeraVe and it seemed to not work as well).
Is there any way I should change my skin care routine around to make my skin less red? It seems to just get red when I walk around a lot. (Might I just need to be drinking more water?)
Sorry if I blabbed on too much, I just like to give as much info as possible. Thank you for your time!
