How to enjoy the outdoors?

Camping this time of year is great and very cheap by the way. Most guy's really dig the outdoor part of it too! Check out your local parks and lakes look for KOA campgrounds also.

with the weather so nice i want to spend more time outdoors with my friends and boyfriend
walking in the park? jogging? exploring a forest? fishing?
any other ideas?
 
I like to have a goal for any trip. Sometimes it is tangible like berry or mushroom hunting (The edible kinds...take a local class or go with an experienced collector until you can identify a few 100% ).

Sometimes it is to simply get some good photos, ski some nice back country, or to hike/bike an interesting trail.

Sometimes it is educational, I do these closer to home or at least within a short drive of a motel. Learning to cook AND clean outdoors, seeing just how weatherproof a new tent is, trying to build an igloo for the first time (winter camping is great too) are all things to do with a solid back-up plan.

Like walking about, breathing in all the fresh air, identifying smells of plants and trees and other vegetation. And identifying all the plants and animals you encounter/see. Work up a good sweat or not, use muscles walking ,hiking, smiling, laughing, being happy to be outside, out-of-doors!
Watch a sunrise, feel the cool night air warm with the sun.
Or enjoy the sun's warm rays mid-day.
Or watch a sunset and see the stars and other night things.

Nice now. Also nice even in the fall, winter and spring.
A different nice, especially in trying to convince warm weather outdoor goers!
