How to enable cookies on sidekick lx?

I am trying to log onto youtube on my sidekick and it says you have cookies turned off, to sign in you have to enable cookies . This just hapened like some days ago and i haven't hit anything to make it say that. So i want to know how do i turn my cookies back on, and how to upgrade my browser b/c when i visit certain pages it says your borwser is too old, but it still lets me view them. I need help please. thanxsss
