How to edit a photo story?

I need to add sample video's to my new website. I want to take the completed photo story's i already have on dvd, and edit them so they are smaller. Then add them using dreamweaver. How do I do this. Since I cannot add the entire photo story, because its over a half hour long. I need to make it about 2-5 minutes in length.
