...have driver license ? Hi guys. I'm going to Easter Island in a few more days :) Here's my question. I have rented a 4x4 Jeep because cars aren't so recommended there as the terrain isn't so good in some parts (holes, and stuff).

However I'd like to get some tips so I can travel and once there have some knowledge about the 4x4.

I think it will be a 4x4 Suzuki Jimny or a Grand Vitara.

With only 1 yr of driving experience, you need to use extreme caution when driving a 4x4. In the 4-wheel drive mode, drive slowly and carefully as you could damage the transmission by not knowing how to drive it. Ask the people at the rental agency for any instructions and tips on driving while in the 4x4 mode. Again I say, be slow and careful. It is totally different from driving a car on paved roads.
