i'm trying to save a .wmv stream from a website and of course when i click on it it starts streaming through wmp but i want to save the actual video, if i right click and click "save target as" it'll save as a windows media audio/video playlist (.asp file) which again i can open it in wmp and it'll start streaming it. if i copy the link location and import it into a download manager (i have mass downloader) the url will end in .wmv but it'll only download a .asp file. what am i doing wrong?
