In short this is what happened.
I went out for a friends birthday on Michigan State's Campus, got pretty well drunk and went to a Pizza place. I ordered two slices of cheese pizza which totaled $4, and the clerk messed up and put $40.00 on my card, noticed it, tried to cancel the transaction, and charged me for the proper $4. But now both transactions have been charged to my card and posted as of today. How to do I get my $40 back? Do I need to dispute it or just walk into the vendor with my credit card statement showing the obvious error?
