How to discipline myself?

I am not obese or overweight in any way. I am average, 12 years old, 4"10 1/2 and 96 lbs. My doctor told me my weight was average but my height was slightly under average. Regardless, I still have stomach fat. It doesn't stick out to the point where I'm ashamed to go in public or tuck in my shirt, but it's disgusting and I can't really wear bikinis unless I'm having a good day. I know I want to lose weight, and I know how to do it. I just can't discipline myself - I snack too much! It's like I tell myself, "Do NOT eat a second slice of cinnamon raisin bread." But I do anyway. It's just too good. Do you have any tips on disciplining myself not to eat unless I need to? I eat out of boredom, cravings, and sometimes for no reason at all which I know is bad. Help anyone?? Thanks.

& I DON'T want to hear "you're not fat" or whatnot, my weight doesn't match my appearance at ALL. That wasn't my question. :/
