how to disable mustang car alarm?

My car alarm on a 99 mustang goes off by itself. This time its going off because I dont have the remote to shut it off. I only have the key and it goes off while driving it stops then starts again. How do i disable the alarm system?

try to find the fuse that is tied to the alarm and remove it
it should say alarm or security
