ok, so i've looked in all possible places and what ive been told is to look in the fuse box, but by doing that i run the risk of disabling my normal lights which i SOO don't wanna do. also ive been told to start my car with the brake on and they shouldn't come on, which didn't work either. So if anyone has done this before of has an idea, im willing to try anything! 
oh.. and i KNOW that its a "safety" feature but it actually works backwards for me .. if its dark and i see lights i figure i already turned on the lights and then forget to turn on the normal ones.. its a miracle noone has rear-ended me T_T
