My dad threw my car keys the other day and now the keypad doesn't work and my alarm system cant be disabled. So even if I use the keys to open to door or start the car the alarm will remain to go off! I disconnected the sound but the lights still blink. I tried to replace the batteries on the keypad but that didn't help at all. How can I disable the alarm system altogether? I found the "brain" (I guess you would call it) of the system under the driver side inside the car. Can I just take that out? Or is it more complicated than that?
