You didn't say what year or model Ford you have but in general there are two CC'S and four O2 sensors. The Ford onboard computer runs periodic checks of the CC by momentatially running the bank under test extra rich (to much gas) this will cause a hight HydroCarbon reading of the upstream O2 sensor, if the CC is working then the downstream CC will not measure any increase HC value, however if the CC is not up to spec. then the downstream O2 will register high HC togeather with the upstream O2 sensor, thus turning on the check engine lite and producing the corresponding error code for computer readout. No telling what will be result of disconnection your O2 sensors one by one.
