How to delete video that is downloaded from iTunes U in the iPhone?

I downloaded the iTunes U app for the iPhone and downloaded a video from there and that video appeared in the Video app. Now i want to delete that video but I can't seem to get rid of it. I swiped my finger to the right but the delete option did not appear, i deleted the iTunes U app, and when i synced my iPhone to my mac, the video did not appear. Please tell me how to get rid of it
