How to delete photos from device without importing them into iPhoto?

I'm trying to delete photos off the camera's memory card with out importing them into iPhoto on my Mac. I tried Picasa as well, but there doesn't seem a simple way to just select the unwanted pics and delete them.

If there is, please let me know.
