How to delete MSN Messenger off my Sony Ericsson C510?

Hi,

I recenty updated my firmware as requested by three my provider. Ever since doing this when ever I open my contacts (phonebook) MSN messenger annoyingly opens, it seems it has some how linked itself to my phone book.

How do I fix this problem, I have tried to delete MSN messenger, but the option is greyed out?

My firmware version is 1212-2413 R1FA034090715
My MSN version is 5.0

Please help?

Finally someone with the same problem as me!

Everytime I open my contacts, the same thing happens and I too cannot delete the app. It is especially annoying when there is no network signal as it keeps opening up an error message.

Any help from anyone would be appreciated.
P.S. I too have the Sony Ericsson C510
 
I have the same stupid problem, really annoying! I was abroad last week and messenger has being secretly dialling away on the internet, I only realised half way my holiday and had to scramble its internet settings as there is no way to de-authorise messenger, it has full control and you cant delete it.

NEVER BUY SONY AGAIN! thats how to fix it! I only got this phone to replace my W850i which was a total heap of &$^£&%* $&%* just like this :moonie:
