How to delete msm id from Mac?

I have a mac and a bunch of other people's ids are on my microsoft messenger. It's annoying having them there and I really want to delete them! Doesn't seem quite as straightforward as it is on pc tho...
any advice from anyone? Only relevant advice tho please, pc advice or YM advice isn't gonna be helpful;)
