Hi i became self employed in march this year ( i am a bricklayer and have only ever been employed)and as well as working regular weekdays i also so do other work which i have sourced myself now i don't make out an invoice unless asked but when i get home i fill out my own invoice for amount paid even if it is a three way split and for only 30 or 40 pounds. Does it matter to me that my friends in the same situation don't bother ? and is this the right way to go about things as regards to my own records. also how important are the "bill to" details ?
