How to debate with my teachers?

Basically, I have research assignments at school.
I'm a sophomore in high school btw.
Well, my teachers are very strict about internet sources.
Some instruct us only to use .edu sites because other "regular" sites aren't reliable, which I think is totally ridiculous.
Most say not to rely on Wikipedia because all of it is fake.
Well, I guess I must say that there are some fake info, but still. Who are we to decide which source is reliable or not?

According to their logic, none of the info should be trustable. What if the author of an informative book deduced that info?
Anyone could've invented info. It's really annoying that I have hard time finding info.
I do find good stuff, but they aren't .edu sites 9_9 omg..
I demand that they let me and they always say, "EDU SITES ONLY!"

See why I'm annoyed? EDU sites barely have any good info. I'd rather use about.com or yahoo answers.

How can I convince my teacher? Any ideas?
