Hi...does any one else have that constant feeling of dizziness or unsteadiness, like you going to fall but you never really do. Is this anxiety related? I've had it for about 5 years and it never goes away..

Yes, I've been experiencing the same exact thing going on about 3.5 weeks now, and it completely sucks. I don't fall, but I'm unsteady, spacey, light headed and feel like I have sea legs; no spinning, as every doctor asks me. I violently shake my head around to try and get rid of it, but no such luck. I even went for a CT scan of my brain, as I was thinking the worst as I often do. It came back negative, yet I'm still dealing with this dizziness. I'm almost positive it has to be anxiety sxs. Mine seems to improve a bit at night for some reason. I'm hoping some new meRAB. will help, because I can't stand it. I guess we're in the same tippy boat.

I've had it most of my life. In my case, it's an inner ear problem. Antihistamines sometimes help but I don't want to take them forever. Fast movement makes it worse so I try to keep my eyes steady. Avoid dairy & salt so I don't retain fluid & congestion. Allergies this time of year is also an irritant.

This seems like a common problem. Mine comes and goes for no apparent reason. I thought it was related to my BPPV, but my doc says no. I get one or two BPPV episodes per year when I get out of bed, so it doesn't concern me. The chronic dizziness is more annoying. It isn't bad enough to really cause me problems with balance, but it is enough to be noticible and drives me nuts. It's just one of those disorders that medicine doesn't have a clear answer for.

Thanks for all the feedback, it's nice to know I'm not alone, it just feels that way.

This is so common. If your a woman..peri menapause does this and so does menapause..ugh its so annoying. They have vestibular rehabs all over if you would like to get some expertise on handling it. I get b12 shots..on vitamin D low levels..but so many woman i know in my age category are talking about this now..I wish they would do a segment on it on tv to help people.
