How to deal with my best friend away at wilderness camp?

Hey. My friend got sent away to wilderness camp. She is attending Second Nature. I hope she gets a lot out of this, her parents sent her because she has depression, lied a lot to them and failed math. She has been my friend for five years but in the last two years we have become inseperatable. We can relate to each other a lot because we both have depression, and she was/is my only friend. I feel like no one really gets how much pain I'm in with her being away, and how lonely I feel. Her parents won't tell me anything else besides where she is and why she was sent. Please can anyone help me deal with her being away? I know these things can last a long time such as a year.
Thanks everyone so much
P.S. give your best friend a hug for me. You never know when they will be instantly gone with out you knowing.
Thanks Hey :D oh but also there is no contact that I can have with her

Since you're feeling really bad, just cry. Crying will make you feel better. Talk to your mom or dad and just let it all out. I am so sorry that she won't be back for a while, but remember that when she comes back, she'll be well again and a much happier person. In the meantime, you might try to make some new friends. Surround yourself with them; love is the most powerful thing in the world, so learn to love your new friends just like your love your best friend. I can't fathom how hard this must be for you; you have my sympathy. Good luck.
