I have a friend that complains to me about lots of different things. We are both in grade 9, and we are close friends, but we can never have fun because she always complains.
So last year, grade 8, she was in a class with none of her friends, becuase we were all in the other grade 8 class and she complained alot, which was understandable, but this year she is with every single one of her friends [Except me, cuz I am the loner this time] and she is STILL COMPLANING! She is saying she's fat and ugly and she hates her class ...
Yes, I've tried talking to her, I've tried almost everything that I can think of, complimenting her, getting my best guy friend to compliment her to boost her self esteem, which he was happy to
, Ignoring her when she's upset, telling her how much her complaining makes me feel, even tried to stop being her friend. But when I did that I felt guilty and like I was running away from something & it probably just made her complain more. So anyways, I don't know what to do anymore, please help?
P.S. The honest truth: She is a little overweight, but does not do anything about it although she complains all the time, she's very pretty, [natural dirty blond with blue eyes & perfect skin] & she has lots of friends but they are all getting annoyed with her to!
