I've never made a crochet glove before and I found these instructions from eHow.com, but I don't understand this part of the instructions:
Separate the pointer finger from the others during the next row. Chain 1 and single crochet 5. Chain 2. Then beginning across the glow, single crochet 5, and you're right back where you started.
