How to create your own flash games?

I've seen games that are own addictinggames.com and i was wondering is there anyway i could make games like the people who post their games on those types of sites.
I need to know what i would need or how i would go about doing it thanks.
I would especially like to know how to make those cool stick fighting games and shooters
 
Your best bet is to go google it. I am taking computer programming at my highschool. We are stating at the basics but after a couple of months I could email you and go through it with you.
