How to create a Solid object for a Flash Game?

Im am making a flash game in school, and its a simple birds eye veiw car game, But i have no idea how to make barriers so that they dont keep going out the map. Also, I dont know if there is a way to make them sortta bounce off.
so if you have any idea please write the AS code.
ps. Do you know how to make targets so when i drive over it gives me a point.
