How to copy a dvd to iTunes?!?!?

I'm trying to copy the movies X-Files: Fight The Future and Anchorman to iTunes as files to put on my iPod. And i don't mean i got the files from any illegal website or anything, but that i own the dvds and am trying to transfer the mto iTunes. They're old so they're not copy-protected. How can i do this without having to download any software or ripper program.
