How to cook chicken for spaghetti?

I want to add chicken to my spaghetti sauce instead of hamburger, how could I cook the chicken. I have 3 hours to get it ready, they are boneless skinless chicken breasts.

If I was doing it, I would cut the chicken up into bite size pieces, then cook in a little butter or oil in a frying pan. Season with pepper, seasoning salt and garlic powder. Add to your spagettie sauce.

trim off any fat. cut into small bite sized chunks. Sautee in a pan with a little butter or oil, your prefered seasoning. Cook about 10 min. until peices are all white, no pink left. Add to your spaghetti.

I'd start with boneless and skinless chicken thighs or breasts. I prefer thighs because they are tastier. Season liberally with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian herbs. Roast in oven or saute in pan in olive oil. You can also cut it up and saute in the same oil/pan as you do your onion and other veges for your sauce. Add remaining ingrediants and simmer for at least 30 minutes to make sure the chicken is cooked thru.

easy no frills answer...boil chicken, shred once cooked through and let it simmer in the sauce for approximatly 15 minutes. :)

I slice mine instead of cubing it. I like it better especially in spaghetti. Anyhow - saute it in a skillet with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Cook until done.

You can also bake it at 350* for 45 minutes and then slice it.

Slice them on the bias or diagonally about 1/4 inch. This make for a nice presentation. Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a heated saute' pan, add 1/2 tablespoon chopped garlic and cook but do not burn. Add chicken slices, a little Italian seasoning (or oregano & tarragon if you don't have the Italian blend). Saute for 3 minutes or until juices run clear. Transfer to paper towel and drain, add this to you sauce or place the slices on top of the pasta and sauce and add julienned basil. You can also add a little white wine to the pan also if you wish.

A tasty way would be to bread it (using whatever you've got for breading) and bake in the oven. I've simply cooked it in a skillet before for spaghetti though and it was good..
