I am completely new to cooking, living on my own now. How do I cook chicken legs and thighs (I guess that's called quarter chickens?). I only have a cast iron frying pan. Do I need to tenderize it? marinate it? What do I use?
I remember I tried cooking meat in the past (just kind of put it in the pan, and it came out all rubbery...maybe I didn't cook it long enough?) Do I need spices? Any help or direction would help greatly!
