So when I was 16 years old I bought myself a 2007 Ford Mustang. All with my own money (down payment, paid off with monthly payments with financing). I pay my amount of the insurance too to help my parents out. I pretty much do everything with this car to be honest. Now that I'm 19, I'd like to trade it in/sell it for an older Subaru STI. My parents are not very happy about this. More so my mom than my dad. She's saying that I am spoiled? I don't understand since I bought my Mustang all on my own and they haven't paid a penny. I'm 19 years old and I believe I can make these decisions on my own without my parents getting so frustrated about it. It's my car and my choice. Some people buy new cars every 6 months!
Does anybody have any suggestions on what I can do to make this process a little easier and get them off my back about this?
