I'm fairly certain I need one. I'm a teenager now, and I hang out with my friends every week. Next school year, I'll be joining after school activities and A LOT of them. I have to use my mom's phone, but she needs it too. And she gets mad if I ask for it at times. I'm a good student maintaining a 4.0 and I think i deserve one by now. I want the iPhone right now, since the prices are reasonably low. But I don't know about the data plan which costs extra. I'm willing to save up for the phone itself, but I doubt my parents will pay the data plan. How do I convince them that I need one?
