So I'm the owner of a 2002 mazda protege es. Its a standard car. I have the money to fix this baby up real good, not just good but basically to go beyond maxing it out with just some dumb turbo and headers. I'm talking a real conversion. I want to convert the car into having all wheel drive and instead of the v4 engine I was thinking of getting a v8 or v10 engine installed in it. And instead of putting the engine in the front like all non super sport cars I want to put the engine in the back of the car like the lamborghini has. Ofcourse I will give it a weight reduction and strip out enough parts to fix this beast engine inside the back of the car. So my question is where is an excellent reliable place located that will do such conversions professionally? I've done some looking around and honestly am not quite pleased with what I found. Maybe I haven't looked well enough. I want professional assistance and I was wondering if anybody knows of such a place that does this kind of work. Please dont post an answer unless you really know and have good info to give out. Thanks
This is possible actually. Have a friend that has a make similar to what I'm talking about, his is a v8. Its sick but I want to look for another place to get my car done. I need some real real professional assistance. Yes it can be done! If your some mechanic then i doubt that you know shit about this, or if youre just some dumb wanna be racer like all these other scrubs. So please please answer this accordingly. Im just hoping to run into someone who has extensive knowledge. If not then no big deal. I have a 5.4 litre V8 that I bought and am ready to tear the car down to start working on it. I have it planned out and it is indeed possible, just looking for some more info.
