Hi i know VCR's are old school, but i have a lot of rare movies and shows that were never released to DVD. So i am just wondering how do i connect the VCR to my Media Center PC? I do not want to connect it Via tuner card, can i connect is to the 5 pin S video port in the front of my PC? I also have an external thing with a S Video port and it ruins to the VGA connection to my monitor.
So i am guessing all i need is a cord right? But i have never seen a cord that converts the normal coaxial cable into a S video end, have you? All i have seen is the basic S video cable's, which have both S video prongs on each side, so that would be useless to me since my VCR has no S video input on it.
So could i do this? Thank u.
