how to connect my sony ericsson k800i in phonemode with a bluetooth device?

hey, i have a bluetooth device,with drivers and all,ive installed the sony ericsson pc suite ,when it tells me to connect,the application does not detect my phone over the bluetooth...wats wrong?

and also i would like to format my memory stick over the sony ecricsson pc suite( i have no usb cable)
