I have a Macbook, the aluminum one, with a Mini Displayport. From the research I've done, I currently have two options: Mini Displayport to DVI and then DVI to HDMI, or Mini Displayport to VGA. I was wondering which option was better and whether or not I can get audio as well. I understand that my Macbook cannot transmit audio through the Mini Displayport, so I have to run a separate audio cable to TV. Which audio cable do I need and will my TV be compatible? My TV is a Samsung Series 3 350. Thanks for all of the help?
